As part of my commitment to more blogging this year, I’ve been thinking about participating in the January 2014 NaBloPoMo: write a blog post every day for the month of January. Every day.
There are lots of things I do every day: sleep, eat, breathe, talk, text, participate in social media (is there a verb meaning to participate in social media?), cook, clean, yell at the kids, *sigh*. I’m not sure why I can’t commit to blogging every day for a month.
Hard to say really. Maybe it’s because I’ve been saying that I’m going to blog more for the past three years. Maybe it’s because I feel like I’m the worst procrastinator in the world with a million unfinished projects. Maybe it’s because I agonize over my blog posts and take forever to write one. Maybe it’s because the thought of adding one more thing to my To Do list every day freaks me out. Maybe because if I commit to doing it, I will actually feel like I have to do it instead of just saying I’ll do it.
Maybe. Maybe I should just do it.
